Application:

ULPK0038 in 12 V configuration is the compact electric gear-type lift pump that feeds Perkins T4.236 and AT4.236 turbocharged diesel engines (4.0 L, 4-cylinder) used in Massey Ferguson 2400- and 3400-series agricultural tractors, MF 7200 combine harvesters, FG Wilson and Pramac generator sets, plus JCB 3CX backhoe loaders and Manitou telehandlers. It mounts on the rear left face of the timing cover and delivers filtered fuel to the high-pressure injection pump across engine speeds from 650 r/min idle to 2 400 r/min rated.

Technical specifications:

Positive-displacement gear pump delivers 130 L/h at 350 kPa and 12 V, drawing only 3.5 A at 2 000 r/min. The die-cast aluminium body carries SAE J744 size 2 flange with two M8 threaded holes on 50 mm centres; 8 mm quick-connect inlet and outlet ports accept standard push-fit fuel lines. An internal relief valve opens at 400 kPa to protect downstream components; Viton seals and gaskets ensure compatibility with biodiesel blends up to B20 and arctic-grade diesel down to −45 °C.

Powder-coated aluminium housing resists salt-spray corrosion; precision-hardened steel gears run in a bronze bearing sleeve for quiet, long-life operation. A stainless-steel magnetic strainer cap captures ferrous debris down to 40 µm, while spring-loaded Viton check valves prevent back-flow and vapour lock. The encapsulated 12 V DC motor is IP67-sealed against dust and moisture, and a self-resetting thermal cut-off at 110 °C guards against overload. Lightweight, vibration-damped and maintenance-free sealed bearings make the unit ideal for continuous-duty agricultural, construction and standby-power applications.
