Application:

The 4132A016 (ULPK0040) fuel lift pump with full accessory kit is engineered for the mechanical-injection Perkins 1004-4 and 1004-4T turbo-diesel engines (4.0 L, 4-cylinder) that power Massey Ferguson 6400-, 7400- and 8200-series tractors, Landini Legend 105/115/130 row-crop and vineyard tractors, JCB 4CX backhoe loaders and 530-70 Loadall telehandlers, plus FG Wilson P22-6 and Pramac GSW85P skid-mounted generator sets. It mounts on the left-hand timing-gear cover and delivers filtered fuel to the high-pressure injection pump across engine speeds from 800 r/min idle to rated 2 200 r/min.

Technical specifications:

The pump body is a cast-aluminium single-diaphragm unit with integral hand-priming lever. Nominal delivery is 110 L/h at 350 kPa and 2 000 r/min; inlet and outlet ports are 8 mm hose-barb fittings. The SAE J744 size 1 flange carries two M8 threaded holes on 60 mm centres and is actuated directly by the camshaft eccentric. Diaphragm diameter is 76 mm, stroke 5 mm, and the internal bypass valve limits pressure to 400 kPa. The supplied accessory kit comprises a translucent sight-bowl sediment filter with 80 µm paper element, Viton-lined gaskets, stainless-steel banjo bolts, copper sealing washers and a reinforced fuel hose, all compatible with biodiesel blends up to B20 and arctic-grade diesel down to −40 °C.

The powder-coated aluminium housing resists salt spray and stone chips; the multi-layer fabric-reinforced nitrile diaphragm is faced with PTFE for low swell and extended flex life. The actuating lever and push-rod are induction-hardened medium-carbon steel, while the internal return spring is stainless steel to prevent sag in high-humidity environments. The transparent sediment bowl allows visual water inspection, and the spring-loaded priming lever enables rapid manual bleeding after service. Lightweight, maintenance-free sealed bearings and a low noise signature make the unit ideal for continuous-duty agricultural, construction and generator applications.
